Gwen Stefani - My Favorite Celebrity Mom!

 
This post is not directly related to my pregnancy/babies (I'm still pregnant by the way), but something that I've been thinking about today. I today read that Gwen Stefani is pregnant with her third child. Gwen Stefani is my all time favorite female artist. I love her! She's got this badass attitude that says "FU, I do what I want", she has an awesomely distinct style, and is super feminine and gorgeous. Did you know she has a real passion for motherhood? She longed to be a mom before she ever became one. It totally shows in some of her lyrics too! Some examples:

This might be a little bit of a stretch, but according to Wikipedia:

"Stefani repeats the phrase 'tick-tock', commonly interpreted as a reference to her maternal clock..."

When I went to the No Doubt concert in 2012, she gave a shutout to all the moms in the audience, which I thought was really cool. Being a mom is obviously something she's passionate about.

She has two boys, and is now pregnant with kid number 3.  She has done lots of interviews on being a working mom and her family life. She admits it was a struggle balancing work and family. She once said in an interview: "I’ve missed the last couple of fashion weeks because of school. I can’t leave the kids, I can’t miss the first week of kindergarten. I just can’t." But somehow she still manages to pull it together as a mom, fashion designer, and rock star.
