New truck, starting solid food, growing so fast...

I totally make a good effort to update my blog at least once a week, bet then I always decide to finish the post later...and then it soon becomes obsolete because things change so much around here! Anyway, let's see if I can write and publish this post within one day this time :)...

So, there are a few things the Graham Fam has been up to lately. Probably the most notable is that we got a new truck! John's little Tacoma is on it's last leg, and John would like something other than my Prius for driving the babies around in, so we got the thing that is the opposite of a Prius...a giant v8 Tundra with a seating for everyone! It's a pretty sweet ride, but I find it difficult to park. John seems to really like it though! The one downside is we had to finance it after being totally car-loan free for a few years now. We'll pay it off early though!

The babies are fantastic, still sleeping through the night, crying a little less, and becoming more and more interested in their world. Zoe and Val find it hilarious when I pretend to gobble their hands. Their giggles are infectious! We have also tried feeding oatmeal/rice cereal! So far they do not like it much. We've only offered it 3ish times now, but something we'll start incorporating in our daily routine.

They have outgrown all their 3month clothes! Those were some of the cutest outfits too, so I'm sad to put them away/donate/pass them along. Now we're using the 3-6month clothes.
We have been transitioning the babies to a 4 hour schedule and it's pretty great! Now we only feed them 4x a day plus a dream feed. It's so nice cutting down on the feedings, because it gives us more play/nap time.

I met another twin mom on Craigslist who sold us one of her swings. Her twins are like, 6 months ahead of mine, which is perfect for getting the hand-me-downs! She gave us a great deal on a jumper and excersaucer and gave me her Baby Bjorn carrier for free! So far, the babies hate the jumper/excersaucer. They cry right away when we try putting them in! It's weird, because they seem to like being upright, and they like colorful toys so....I don't get it. I hope they get used to them soon! The "new" baby carrier is pretty cool. Babies seem to like riding in it and it's fun to carry them around in it while I do chores and whatnot. I just wish I could carry them both at the same time!
